Paul Kirincich is a General Partner at APA Venture Partners, where he focuses on investments in pre-seed and seed-stage healthcare and consumer internet businesses. Before co-founding APA, he was an Operating Partner with Khosla Ventures, a $5B silicon valley based VC firm. Prior to entering the venture capital industry, Paul was CFO and finance executive at several successful venture-backed companies including Netflix (IPO), One Medical Group (IPO), and Extend Health (acquired by Towers Watson). 

 

Paul received an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Wesleyan University. His free time is devoted to his family, which includes three children, exercises regularly and when he indulges his fondness for long distance cycling, cooking, golf and his New York sports teams.

Alex Kaufman is a General Partner and Co-Founder at APA Venture Partners. Prior to launching APA, Alex spent 3 years at JetBlue Technology Ventures where he focused on early stage technology investments in the SaaS, Fintech, and Consumer spaces. He was a board observer and investor in Shape Security, Slice Labs, Miles, and FLYR. Prior to joining JetBlue Ventures, he gained deep operational experience working with start-ups.  Most recently, working as Manager of Strategic Financial Initiatives at One Medical Group. Alex began his career as a technology focused investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  Alex graduated with Honors from Amherst College, and received his MBA from UNC"s Kenan-Flager Business School. He is a Bay Area native, life-long tech enthusiast, and Star Wars addict.

Ajay Sharma is a General Partner and Co-Founder at APA VP. Prior to launching APA VP, he sent 6 years working in venture capital. Most recently, Ajay was an Investment Principal at Communitas Capital where he focused on early stage investments in Fintech, Marketplaces, and data. During his tenure at Communitas Capital, he worked on the firm’s investments in Street Contxt, Graphite, CoinMetrics, Alchemy, and Finlync.  Prior to Communitas Capital, Ajay was an Investment Principal and member of the founding team at Jetblue Technology Ventures. He began his career at BlackRock in the Aladdin group. Ajay graduated with Honors from Rutgers College, and received his MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. His interests include cooking, reading, and sporting clays.
